The Melbourne Football Club is excited to welcome premium automotive manufacturer Jaguar as its new Co-Principal Partner for the 2019 season.
The partnership will see Jaguar’s brand placed on the back of the club’s guernsey throughout the 2019 season.
Melbourne Football Club Chief Executive Officer Gary Pert said.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to be working with a prestigious international brand that is synonymous with luxury and performance.”
“As one of Australia’s most iconic sporting Clubs, we are extremely excited to be aligning with an organisation that shares a passion and commitment to high performance.”

Jaguar Australia’s Managing Director Mark Cameron said he is enthusiastic for Jaguar to enter into the AFL landscape and recognises the opportunity it presents to further connect to a broader Australian audience.
“AFL is the biggest sport in Australia and for us, Melbourne Football Club was an obvious choice to further grow our brand on a national scale.”
“We were extremely impressed by Melbourne’s commitment to continually find ways to improve and their ‘never be satisfied’ mentality that we share within our business.”
“Jaguar and Melbourne Football Club share very proud histories. Whilst both brands acknowledge the significance of the past, we both wish to create new successes to stretch ourselves as we shape our future.”
“We look forward to sharing this challenge with Melbourne,” Cameron said.
