AS MELBOURNE prepares to wear its Proud to Belong guernsey in Round 17, the club is pleased to announce the ongoing support of one of its Co-Principal Partners.
Leading insurer Zurich Australia has signed a contract extension with the Demons, which will see its logo remain on the front of the men’s jumper and on the back of the women’s jumper in 2021.
CEO Gary Pert said he was thrilled to see this support continue into next year.
“We’re really excited to have Zurich as part of our future,” he told Melbourne Media.
“Zurich is a leading global brand and has been an amazing supporter of our club and our other partners since joining us at the start of the 2018 season.
“This partnership continues to go from strength to strength and we thank them for their ongoing support.”
Zurich will join some of the club’s most loyal fans in being proudly displayed on the iconic red and blue design this Saturday, when the Dees do battle with GWS at the Gabba.
The Proud to Belong guernsey, which is inspired by a pre-season jumper from the late 1990s, is filled with names of passionate Melbourne members and supporters, while Zurich’s logo will of course take pride of place on the front.
Saturday’s match will also mark Member Thank You Round, with the AFL celebrating the competition’s dedicated members in the penultimate games of the home-and-away season.
