MELBOURNE is set to relocate to Cairns for a short period of time, where it will face Fremantle and Sydney in the latter part of the season.
The AFL announced on Wednesday morning that the Dockers and Swans were going to join the Cairns-based hub from Round 15-18, and the Dees will meet them up there for clashes at Cazaly Stadium.
It is unclear what rounds these match-ups will come, as Melbourne awaits further information from the AFL.
