FRIDAY'S game against the Western Bulldogs at Etihad Stadium gives all those attending a special chance to honour Sean Wight, who passed away on Thursday morning after a short battle with cancer.

There will be a minute’s silence before the game, and a video of highlights will be shown on the screen, giving everyone the chance to relive some great moments of Wight’s 150 games between 1985 and 1995.

In an additional tribute, Jared Rivers, as the current wearer of No. 27 - and who like Wight is an athletic defender - will lead the team out to honour Wight.

Rivers will also toss the coin before the game, and all players will wear black armbands in Wight’s memory.
