The Melbourne football Club can confirm that Barry Prendergast has resigned from his position as National Recruiting Manager.

Barry spent six years at Melbourne working across a number of areas including Opposition Analysis, Development Coaching and then as National Recruiting Manager.

General Manager of List Management Tim Harrington  praised Barry's contribution to the Melbourne Football Club, "We accept Barry's decision to pursue a different direction in his career. We thank him for his contribution during what was an important phase for the Club and we wish him well in his future endeavors . "

The Club will now commence the process to find the best candidate to fill the vacant position.
