JACK Grimes will have scans on his right foot on Monday to determine the extent of his injury.
Grimes suffered the set-back in the opening minutes of Melbourne’s 96-point win over Adelaide at the MCG on Sunday.
The Demon leader was replaced by substitute Austin Wonaeamirri, who finished with two goals.
The club expects to have details on Grimes’ injury late on Monday afternoon.
