MELBOURNE great Robert Flower has been named the club’s No.1 ticket holder, replacing another red and blue legend Ron Barassi.
Barassi has been Melbourne’s No.1 ticket holder for the past two years, but the mantle has been handed to Flower.
Flower was a club captain, a best and fairest winner and a member of Melbourne’s Hall of Fame and Team of the Century.
Barassi is an Australian Football Hall of Fame legend, a dual premiership captain a member of five Melbourne premiership teams.
Flower and Barassi are considered among Melbourne’s greatest players and favourite sons.
Terry Bracks remains Melbourne’s No.1 female ticket holder and has done since 2003.
