The Melbourne Football Club can confirm that Sean Wellman has advised the Club of his decision to accept a position with the Essendon Football Club.
General Manager of Football Operations Chris Connolly said “We are disappointed with Sean’s decision but we are confident there are a number of excellent candidates for this position and we will commence the recruitment process immediately.”
Sean Wellman has been an Assistant Coach at Melbourne for the past three seasons.
