DEFENDER Luke Tapscott has accepted a reprimand and 93.75 points towards his future record from the match review panel on Tuesday.
Tapscott was charged with a level one engaging in rough conduct offence against West Coast’s Mark Nicoski, following last Thursday’s loss at Patersons Stadium.
The South Australian accepted the reduced sanction by 25 per cent and took the early plea offered by the MRP.
Based on video evidence available and a medical report from West Coast, the match review panel said the incident was assessed as reckless conduct (two points), low impact (one point) and body contact (one point).
This totaled four activation points, resulting in a level one classification offence, drawing 125 demerit points and a one-match sanction.
Tapscott had no existing good or bad record.
