MELBOURNE would like to inform its members and supporters about some upcoming details regarding its trip to China.

The Kaspersky Cup Shanghai Showdown match between Melbourne and the Brisbane Lions at Jiangwan Stadium on Sunday October 17 won’t be televised into Australia.

It will only be broadcast in China, which is set to attract a viewing audience of an estimated 300 million.

Due to restrictions, the club won’t be able to provide regular Twitter and Facebook updates from China.

Melbourne’s key destinations include Moganshan, Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong.

The 14-day tour runs from Sunday October 10 to Saturday 23.
