MELBOURNEfc has welcomed back captain David Neitz, along with Brad Green and Brent Moloney for Sunday afternoon’s Round 16 clash with the Kangaroos at The Dome.

Neitz, who last played in Neale Daniher’s farewell match, has recovered from medial damage to his knee, and a hamstring complaint.  He will lead the team out for his 296th game for the Club.

Midfielders Brad Green and Brent Moloney are returning after missing games with knee and groin injuries respectively.

High leaping forward Russell Roberston is set to play his 200th AFL game.  Originally from Tasmania, ‘Robbo’ was a product of the Club’s 1997 rookie list, and has made an impact over the last decade with his spectacular marking and freakish goal kicking, winning the 2003 Best and Fairest, and leading the Club’s goal kicking in 2001 and 2005.

Forward Aaron Davey will miss the next two weeks after he was suspended for striking Brisbane’s Troy Selwood.  The Kangaroos will be without star midfielder Daniel Wells due to a knee injury.

The match should provide a good contest, with Melbourne looking to rebound after a disappointing 44 point loss against the Lions, while the Kangaroos are brimming with confidence after their recent win over Fremantle.

The last time these two teams met earlier in the year, the Kangaroos got up by a point in the final minute of the game.
