THE 2012 VFL FIXTURE has now been released, featuring the Casey Scorpions matches.
The season will start on Saturday, March 24 - the same day as the AFL season - but seven days before Melbourne plays its first match against Brisbane Lions at the MCG.

Casey, led by new coach and former Melbourne star Brett Lovett, will play VFL runners-up Williamstown in the opening round.
The VFL consists of 13 teams with 22 rounds and four byes per club in 2012.
The Acacia VFL finals system will remain the same in 2012. It will be played across the first four weekends of September. The VFL Grand Final will be played the weekend before the AFL Grand Final. The date and venue for the Peter Jackson VFL GF are yet to be finalised.
