MELBOURNE has confirmed it will not match the offer made by Brisbane Lions to restricted free agent Brent Moloney.

The club would sincerely like to thank Moloney for his contribution on and off the field, spanning eight seasons with the Demons.

In his time at the club, he won the 2011 best and fairest and played 122 games.

We wish him all the best, as he continues his career at the Brisbane Lions.
