LIKE many, Nathan Jones is a huge fan of one of Australia’s leading bands - The Temper Trap. Unsurprisingly, he was thrilled to hear that his Guernsey Club Player Sponsor for the 2013 season will be long time Demons’ supporter and The Temper Trap band member, Toby Dundas.
The popular Australian indie-rock band featured as one of the main performances at the 2012 AFL Grand Final. Despite his touring commitments, Dundas has remained a loyal supporter of the Club and has been a member for the past ten years. A boyhood Demons’ fan, he was delighted to support the Club by joining as a player sponsor.
“I’m always looking to help out the Club, and this seemed like a great way to get more involved”, Dundas said.
Jones was “stoked” to hear of his new player sponsor. “It’s awesome. I’ve seen them a couple of times and love the band”, Jones said, “A few other players were also excited to hear about Toby jumping on board as a player sponsor. We really appreciate the support that player sponsors such as Toby give to the Club.” Nathan has been supported by his Elite Sponsors (Cold Rock Caroline Springs) and his Player Sponsors (Barbara Box and Meg Hardy) for many years now.
With the season fast approaching, there are still some great opportunities to support the Club as a player sponsor. If you are interested in sponsoring your favourite player for the 2013 season, click here to find out more details -
