MIDFIELDER Bernie Vince has accepted an early plea and a $1950 sanction for making contact with an umpire.
Vince was charged with a first offence for making reckless contact with field umpire Ben Ryan during the third quarter of Sunday’s loss to Greater Western Sydney at Spotless Stadium.
A first offence for making reckless contact with an umpire is a $2600 sanction.
But an early plea reduced the penalty by 25 per cent to a $1950 sanction, which Vince took.
