THE VFL and AFL has a long track record of taking the game overseas, with a history of exhibition and pre-season matches dating back well before recent Premiership matches in Wellington and Shanghai. 

The Demons were fortunate enough to be part of that trend, playing matches in the USA, UK, Canada, New Zealand and China across the years.
