THE ULTIMATE football and fishing getaway takes place from July 17-21, as the club takes on the Brisbane Lions in Darwin.
Now in its third year, Crab Claw Island will again be the destination for what promises to be another fantastic, world class fishing experience. Two past champions of the club are already on board, with Robbie Flower and David Schwarz joining an intimate group of committed Demons supporters.
Crowned 2011 fishing champion, passionate Melbourne supporter Tim Mason is already looking forward to the Top End adventure.
“I have been on this fishing trip the past two years and have already booked for July. As a past champion of the trip, I look forward to teaching Robbie and ‘The Ox’ some of the finer points of fishing in the Top End,” he said.
To end this unique experience, the group will join club staff and representatives at the official AFLNT pre-game cocktail function before watching the Demons take on the Lions at TIO Stadium.
