Guerin returns for Kemp
Maddy Guerin is back for Round 3, coming into the side for Ainslie Kemp who suffered an ACL injury last week.
Guerin, who was left out of the team that beat the Dogs, has the chance to play her sixth career game when the Dees meet St Kilda.
Oppo watch
Melbourne will face its first expansion team for 2020 this Friday night.
The Saints, one of four sides to enter the league this year, are winless from their opening two games of the season, but showed genuine improvement last week, going down to Adelaide by just 13 points.
What it means
With Fremantle taking on Collingwood on Saturday night, a Round 3 win would ensure the Dees finish the weekend in the top two of Conference B.
Melbourne is one of just four teams to win both of its opening two games, and a third victory would see them get a little bit of breathing space at the top end of the ladder.
Look out for
Expect to see plenty of colour in the stands at RSEA Park as the AFLW celebrates its Pride Round.
Aliesha Newman has been the club’s ambassador for this event, as the competition celebrates inclusion in football.
