MELBOURNE'S AFLW stars hosted a number of primary school clinics last December in the club's heartland of Casey.
The clinics, hosted at schools in Berwick Fields, Brentwood Park and Oatlands, enabled more than 150 year three to six students the chance to learn a bit about footy and active lifestyles.
Many of the students had never picked up a football before, let alone met an AFLW player they could look up to and be inspired by.
All the students had a lot of footy fun, learning some new kicking and handballing techniques from our highly talented players, while getting active with their school mates.
The players even won over some new Melbourne fans, who now can't wait to get along to the AFLW Junior Clinic on Saturday 1 February, before cheering them on in Round 1 against North Melbourne on Saturday 8 February.
AFLW Junior clinic registrations at Casey Fields are still open, register HERE.
