MIDFIELDER/forward Colin Sylvia has been accepted his three match penalty by the match review panel after striking Gold Coast’s Jared Brennan.

Key forward Chris Dawes, who was charged with striking Sun Tom Murphy, has accepted a reprimand and 93.75 points towards his future record. He will be free to play against Richmond at the MCG on Sunday.

Sylvia’s report was impacted by his previous record.

He was charged with a level four striking offence, which had to stand at three matches, even with an early plea.

It means that Sylvia will not be available until Melbourne’s Queen’s Birthday clash against Collingwood on June 10.
