MELBOURNE recruits Daniel Cross and Bernie Vince will be the most expensive players at the Demons in NAB AFL Fantasy next season.

Cross, who was picked up by the Demons as a delisted free agent after a decorated career at the Western Bulldogs, will set Fantasy coaches back $485,700.

The veteran's 2013 scoring average of 89.62 is also the best at his new club.

Vince, who made the switch from the Crows in the recent trade period, will start at $449,300. The midfielder averaged 82.9 Fantasy points in 2013.

On the back of his impressive debut season, Dean Terlich has risen an astonishing $332,200 from the start of 2013 to the beginning of 2014.

He started his first year on Melbourne's list at $107,200 and now looks a pricey prospect at $434,900.

Terlich is now the third-highest priced Demon, behind Cross and Vince.

Jack Watts [DEF/FWD, $365,200] remains at an attainable price in 2014 and might be one to keep on the radar – especially if he spends some time in the midfield.

Given his persistent run of injuries, Mitch Clark is another player whose price has plummeted.

Clark is listed at just $213,300 in 2014 – a price drop of $111,000 from the end of last season.

Much-hyped youngster, Jesse Hogan, will start at $265,600 in his first season in the AFL, in keeping with the new Fantasy price structure which sees top-ranked first year players cost more than in previous years.

Hogan won the Casey Scorpions' best and fairest award in 2013 in the VFL, after booting 39 goals in 15 matches.

Fremantle recruit Viv Michie [MID, $193,300] looms as a potential cash cow.

Although he has not played a lot of senior football, Michie was highly ranked when coming through the Under-18 system four years ago.

He played just one match for the Dockers in 2013, but averaged 26 disposals per game in a starring role for Peel Thunder in the WAFL.

If he stays healthy, Michie could take the next step at AFL level in 2014. At the very least, he can expect game time in Melbourne's midfield under Paul Roos.
