TRAVIS Cloke's Collingwood career is back in limbo, with Nathan Buckley axing the powerhouse forward for Monday's Queen's Birthday clash against Melbourne.
Cloke was only recalled last week after missing six games, but he went goalless from 13 disposals as the Magpies suffered a 67-point belting from Port Adelaide.
The 29-year-old, who has been the subject of intense trade speculation, has been dropped alongside Adam Oxley, with Nathan Brown, Jarrod Witts, Marley Williams, Jonathon Marsh and Tom Phillips coming into the extended squad.
Meanwhile, Melbourne coach Paul Roos has sent Jeff Garlett back to the VFL, while Jack Viney is a shock inclusion in the 25-man squad only two weeks after he broke a knuckle in his left hand.
If he makes the 22, forgotten Dee and former co-captain Jack Grimes will play his 99th match and first this season, while Viv Michie and Ben Kennedy are also included in the squad.
Star North Melbourne ruckman Todd Goldstein has been named to return from a knee injury for Saturday night's blockbuster clash against Geelong at Etihad Stadium.
The big Roo was a late withdrawal for last Friday night's belting of Richmond and coach Brad Scott said he wouldn't risk Goldstein against the Cats unless he was "100 per cent or extremely close to it".
Despite impressing against the Tigers, Majak Daw has made way for Goldstein, while Aaron Mullett has been called up to replace injured defender Sam Wright (ankle).
Geelong has been forced into one change, with spearhead Tom Hawkins (suspension) replaced by Rhys Stanley.
The Western Bulldogs have made only one alteration to the side that defeated West Coast, bringing in Mitch Honeychurch to replace Toby McLean (ankle) for a crunch trip to face Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval.
The Power will go in with the same 22 that smashed the Magpies.
West Coast swingman Jeremy McGovern has recovered from illness and will bolster the Eagles' line-up against Adelaide in a pivotal contest between seventh and eighth on the ladder on Saturday night at Domain Stadium.
Young defender Tom Cole goes out of West Coast's side, while veteran Scott Thompson and David Mackay return for the Crows in place of omitted duo Ricky Henderson and Wayne Milera.
Former Fremantle skipper Matthew Pavlich won't make the long trip to the Gabba to take on the Brisbane Lions on Saturday due to a groin injury.
Pavlich joins fellow big men Jack Griffin (hamstring) and Michael Apeness (shoulder) in missing from the Dockers side that broke their duck against Essendon, with ruck duo Jack Hannath and Zac Clarke called up alongside Tanner Smith.
The Lions have recalled young defender Harris Andrews, Rohan Bewick and Darcy Gardiner, to replace Allen Christensen (collarbone), Jackson Paine (foot) and Jonathan Freeman (omitted).
Hawthorn spearhead Jack Gunston has been named to face Essendon on Friday night despite battling a sore ankle, but champion midfielder Sam Mitchell (back) hasn't got up for the Etihad Stadium clash.
Tough defender Taylor Duryea (hip) and Jonathon Ceglar (suspension) are also out of the side, with hard nut Will Langford, backman Angus Litherland and young ruckman Marc Pittonet coming in.
The Bombers have a monumental task ahead, but will be boosted by the return of experienced campaigners James Kelly, Mathew Stokes and Mark Jamar to replace Ryan Crowley (hamstring), Mark Baguley (knee) and Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti (rested).
Greater Western Sydney star Ryan Griffen has finally overcome a back injury and is set to take his place for the biggest-ever derby against the Sydney Swans on Sunday.
Griffen has missed the past six matches and the Giants are looking to rebound after two losses on the road to Geelong and Adelaide.
Tom Downie and Sam Reid, who will play his first game in 1072 days after retiring in 2013, also come into the squad, with no Giants dropped so far.
The Swans have recalled Callum Mills after the NAB AFL Rising Star chance was rested last week. Allir Allir, Dean Towers and Toby Nankervis are also in the mix for the final team, while George Hewett (concussion) is the only confirmed change at this stage.
St Kilda captain Nick Riewoldt (knee) won't face Carlton at Etihad Stadium on Sunday, with injury forcing four Saints out of the side that was thumped by Adelaide.
Veteran defender Sean Dempster (knee), former No.1 draft pick Paddy McCartin (concussion) and backman Hugh Goddard (ruptured Achilles) have also made way.
Seven Saints are in contention to come in – Luke Delaney, Tom Lee, Nathan Wright, Blake Acres, Darren Minchington, Jack Sinclair and Lewis Pierce.
The Blues could hand a debut to father-son Jack Silvagni after the forward with a famous last name booted four goals in the VFL.
Silvagni was taken with pick 53 in last year's NAB AFL Draft and, if selected in the final team, will follow in the footsteps of father Stephen (312 games for Carlton) and grandfather Serge (239).
Dangerous forward Liam Sumner and ruckman Andrew Phillips are also in the 25-man squad, with no players omitted yet.
Reinforcements continue to arrive for injury-plagued Gold Coast, with Rory Thompson, Trent McKenzie and Sam Day back to face Richmond at the MCG on Sunday.
Sean Lemmens and Matt Shaw are among the other inclusions, with prolific midfielder Aaron Hall a shock omission and Callum Ah Chee (calf) also sidelined.
The Tigers have added Dylan Grimes, Reece Conca, Liam McBean, Connor Menadue and Jayden Short to their squad, having dropped veteran backman Troy Chaplin and lost Steven Morris for the season due to a ruptured ACL.
