“We played Port Melbourne about a month ago and we had a fantastic win off the back of losing to the Northern Blues, where we did some soul-searching. Ever since that game against Port, our season has gone from strength-to-strength. Port is like a lot of other teams – you need to be able to control the contest and take their marks away from them. They play a different style to several other teams, so it will be another good opportunity. I’m really loking forward to the weekend for a number of reasons. We have several AFL-listed players who are in really good form and their development continues. They’ll continue to put their hand up for AFL selection. I’m also looking forward to our VFL players continuing to do their role and what’s asked of them. I’m sure we’ll continue to get good results, if we continue to do similar things. ” – Justin Plapp
