CASEY Demons debutant Jake DiPasquale is this week’s King Gee Trademark Player of the Week.
DiPasquale played his role during the Round 6 win over Box Hill, with coach Jade Rawlings pleased with his efforts.
“This was Jake’s debut for Casey in his third year with the club. Jake has been a tremendous improver within our program since the first day of pre-season,” Rawlings said.
“His local club is Sorrento, coached by former MFC player Luke Tapscott, and has played to a high standard in the first month of the year.
“He is popular amongst team mates and won this award for his capacity to do what the team needed from him, as opposed to seeking personal glory.”
For the women's first game, Chantel Emonson has scooped the award.
Emonson had 13 disposals for the match and was a clear standout for Casey against the Hawks.
DiPasquale and Emonson will receive $150 vouchers to spend on King Gee gear.
