FIVE Demons have polled in the AFL Coaches Association’s Champion Player of the Year award votes for the round 11 win over the Western Bulldogs.
Tom McDonald was the leading vote getter for the game (nine votes) thanks to his powerful all-round performance which included four goals, 24 disposals, 11 marks and five tackles.
Neville Jetta also polled strongly in defence (eight votes), with his five rebound-50s and 24 disposals not going unnoticed.
Jesse Hogan (six votes) and disposal machines Clayton Oliver (three votes) and Angus Brayshaw (one vote) were the other Melbourne players to receive votes.
