MELBOURNE will play a practice match against Collingwood this Friday night, in the lead-up to the 2018 AFLW season.
The Demons will play the Magpies at Olympic Park Oval from 7.30pm.
The match will consist of four 20-minute quarters.
Melbourne’s AFLW season will start on Saturday, February 3 at 5.05pm.
The Demons will host GWS Giants at Casey Fields.
Melbourne will play Adelaide Crows (round two), Fremantle (round three), Collingwood (round four), Brisbane Lions (round five), Carlton (round six) and Western Bulldogs (round seven).
After missing out on the Grand Final by percentage in the inaugural AFLW season in 2017, Melbourne is determined to climb higher in 2018.
