Match Preview:
The Casey Demons are excited to be returning home after three clashes on the road before this weekend's game against Geelong. The game will be played under the lights at Casey Fields starting at 7pm.
The boys fought gallantly but fell to their first loss of the season last Sunday when Richmond secured a 35-point win at Punt Road Oval. Casey jumped out of the blocks kicking the first five goals of the game and led at quarter-time with eight goals to six. Richmond kicked 11 of the next 16 goals to claim the victory.
Geelong secured their second win of the season defeating Footscray by 19 points at GMHBA Stadium.
Geelong have defeated us in the past two seasons, winning in Round 3 last season when an injury-depleted Casey were overrun by 36-points in Geelong. The Cats also secured a thrilling 11-point win in Round 20, 2016.
Casey and Geelong both sit on two wins and one loss to start their campaigns, with the winner of this clash jumping ahead and securing a place inside the top four.
