MELBOURNE has withdrawn two players from its side to face the Blues in Round 16, with Oskar Baker and Tim Smith set to miss Sunday’s game.
Smith pulled up sore from last week’s loss to the Lions after hurting his calf, while Baker has been omitted after six games in the senior side.
The Demons’ newest recruit Kyle Dunkley is one of six players added to the extended bench, coming into the squad alongside Jordan Lewis, Oscar McDonald, Braydon Preuss, Corey Wagner and Josh Wagner.

Melbourne is yet to name any inclusions for Baker and Smith, set to announce the minimum two changes at 5pm on Friday night.
Ruckman Max Gawn has been named to play but will be monitored closely in the lead up to the game after rolling his ankle last weekend.
The 27-year-old didn’t train on Thursday morning, giving himself as much time to heal as possible, with a call to be made on his fitness in the coming days.
Jake Lever and Neville Jetta will both be making a return from knee injuries this weekend, but will be doing so via the Casey Demons in the VFL to get some match fitness under their belts.
