IN season 10 at AFL level, Jake Lever manned the backline in his typical commanding manner.

Known for his intercept marks, Lever continued his success alongside seasoned veteran Steven May as a dynamic duo down back.

Despite missing six games in 2024 due to injury, the No.8 ended the season on 46 intercept marks, ranking third at the club and taking the most per game played.

It wasn’t always the veterans down back, with Lever was joined by youngster Blake Howes, who soaked up the knowledge and experience from playing alongside the May and Lever duo.

Game of the year

Lever had a number of stand-out games in 2024, but none more so than his performance against Richmond in Round 8
