BEN BROWN will leave the men’s football world with an impressive career over 10 years, but what’s next for the full forward?
Brown currently coaches Melbourne’s AFLW side as the ‘talls specialist coach’ and is eager for the opportunity to continue growing in the AFLW space.
“I’ve been asked a lot recently and I do absolutely love my involvement with the AFLW side,” Brown said at this year’s best and fairest.
“I’m really hopeful that I can continue in the AFLW space, I love that space, I love the culture of the place.
Winning their first AFLW premiership in 2022, the team is led by Mick Stinear as head coach.
Stinear is joined by Shae Sloane (forwards), Vincent Chungue (midfield), and Matt Brewer (backs) as assistant coaches.
Brown adds a wealth of knowledge to an already experienced coaching panel, guiding talls of the team such as, Tayla Harris, Georgia Campbell, Lauren Pearce, Tahlia Gillard and Jacinta Hose to grow and develop each day.
“I love being part of Mick Stinear’s group,” Brown said.
“Thank you Mick, for having me be a part of that group, I certainly hope I can remain in that space.”
