MELBOURNE has welcomed a new addition to its AFL list, signing Tom Campbell on the opening day of the Free Agency period.
The ruckman arrives with a wealth of experience, having been a Saint for the past three seasons and calling the Western Bulldogs and North Melbourne home prior to that.
At 201cm tall, Campbell is set to add to the Dees’ ruck stocks.
“Tom is an experienced, competitive ruck, who we are excited to welcome to the club,” Melbourne AFL List Manager Tim Lamb.
“He is an outstanding character, and will provide depth and maturity in our ruck stocks, which has been a focus for us this off season.
“We look forward to having Tom and his family as part of the red and blue.”
Campbell has tallied 58 senior games to date, while also registering 30 goals.
He was initially selected by the Bulldogs with pick No.27 in the 2012 Rookie Draft, before making the move to Arden St at the end of 2018. He joined St Kilda ahead of the 2022 season.
It marks the first activity for Melbourne, with the AFL Trade Period kicking off on Monday 7 October.
