Tayla Harris and Blaithin Mackin will be preparing for their first games of the year, having missed the club’s two pre-season matches.
The game is set to be a fierce battle between the two sides, who last met during the 2023 semi-final, the Cats winning by a heartbreaking five points and ending the Dees’ premiership hopes.
Melbourne will be heading down the highway for the clash at GMHBA Stadium, the opening bounce scheduled for 7:15pm (AEST).
Dees fans are encouraged to head down and support the side in their first official game of the season, tickets and memberships both still available.
