MELBOURNE is preparing to welcome thousands of kids to the MCG in Round 17, as the club hosts its second annual 'Kids Takeover' game when the Dees take on the Eagles.
The event will be an opportunity for Demon families to create core football memories, with the entire match day reimagined to create an epic experience for kids.
The match will take place as part of Kids Go Free month, so fans under the age of 15 can enjoy all of the below entertainment free of charge.

KIDS ZONE
Join the Dees for a 'Carnival on the Concourse!' Featuring rides, activities, entertainment and giveaways, the kids will never want to leave.
TIME:
The Kids Zone will be open from 11am, closing at half time.
LOCATION:
MCG concourse, between Gates 2 and 3

Melbourne staff will be handing out 'Golden Tickets' to a few lucky families in the Kids Zone pre-game. This ticket will grant an epic inner-sanctum experience for one adult and one junior. Get down early for your chance to win!
IN-STADIUM
And don't forget about the activity inside the 'G! Not only will families be able to enjoy an exciting game of footy between the Dees and Eagles, but kids will also have the opportunity to take part in a range of fun games displayed on the big screen, including Simon Says, Pass the Parcel and Musical Chairs.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Heading to the game via train? There are two train stations close to the MCG, Jolimont and Richmond.
To get to Jolimont station, take the Hurstbridge or Epping lines from any railway station in the central business district.
To get to Richmond station from the city, take any train on the Lilydale, Belgrave, Alamein, Glen Waverley, Dandenong, Pakenham, Cranbourne, Frankston or Sandringham lines.
Multiple tram routes also stop close to the stadium, including the 70, (via Melbourne Park light rail), the 48, 75 (both Wellington Parade).
PARKING
If you're driving, Yarra Park parking is the most convenient place to park. However, be sure to keep an eye on parking updates via the MCC as this can be subject to weather conditions.
