IN A fiercely contested Round 8 clash at Casey Fields, the Casey Demons narrowly fell to the Brisbane Lions, finishing with a final score of 57 to 64.

Casey started the match with a blistering first quarter, kicking six goals to Brisbane's two, setting an early and commanding lead. However, as the game progressed, Brisbane chipped away at the lead. By the end of the third quarter, the Lions had brought the margin within a single goal.

Ollie Sestan was in phenomenal form, kicking four goals. He started strong, scoring three goals in the opening quarter, providing an early spark for Casey. His fourth goal in the third quarter was crucial in keeping the Demons in contention as Brisbane began to close the gap.
