THREE Demons will re-enter Melbourne’s line-up as the club prepares for its ANZAC Day Eve clash against Richmond.
Kysaiah Pickett has been welcomed back into the final team after serving his one-match suspension during Round 5.
The dynamic forward is set to inject a spark of energy inside 50, an exciting addition for the MCG stage.
Bailey Laurie has earned his call-up following a standout display in the VFL’s Round 3 match, collecting a whopping 20 tackles alongside his already impressive 24 disposals and 11 clearances.
Daniel Turner will play his first AFL game for 2024, with the selection particularly exciting for the Demon, who had spent close to six weeks sidelined with a hip injury.
Turner made his return to football last week via the VFL and, after a notable nine-mark match, has claimed his spot in the Demons’ 23.
Christian Salem will miss the game while he completes a rehab program as a result of a hamstring injury sustained during Round 5.
Koltyn Tholstrup and Ben Brown have both been omitted from the Round 7 clash, but will join Marty Hore on the emergency list.
Of the 23 named, one Demon will be confirmed as the team’s tactical substitute 60 minutes prior to the first bounce.
Wednesday night’s match will mark the ninth instalment of ANZAC Day Eve match, a much-loved game on the Melbourne football calendar.
The Dees will be donning their bespoke 2024 ANZAC Day Eve guernsey which looks to honour the club’s connection to the Shrine of Remembrance.
The guernsey, designed in collaboration with New Balance, celebrates the 90th anniversary of the Shrine of Remembrance, which was founded in 1934 as the National War Memorial of Victoria.

The historic guernsey design features the original blue prints drawn by Philip Hudson and James Wardrop, the two returned-soldier architects who won a competition in 1923 to design a National War Memorial to honour the sacrifices of Victorians during WW1.
Members and supporters can purchase their tickets for the blockbuster match here, with the first bounce scheduled for 7:25pm (AEST).
