MELBOURNE has made two changes to its side to face St Kilda on Saturday, with senior defensive duo Neville Jetta and Jordan Lewis returning from injury.
The pair have been added to the team at the expense of Oscar McDonald and Billy Stretch who have both been omitted.
The Demons should have a strong outfit on the MCG this weekend, with Jetta (144 games) and Lewis (307 games) adding a wealth of experience to the red and blue.
Jetta was a late withdrawal from last week’s clash with Sydney as he battled some knee soreness, but he trained successfully during the week and has been declared fit for Round 5.
Lewis has also overcome injury to be selected for the game after hurting his hamstring in the lead up to Round 1.
The 32-year-old veteran will be a welcome inclusion to the team’s defence, with the importance of his leadership recognised among the group.
Coming off a nine-day break, the Demons will be at full fitness on Saturday afternoon, with Braydon Preuss given plenty of time to overcome a minor shoulder injury suffered last Thursday.
Stretch, McDonald, Jay Lockhart and Declan Keilty are the four Demons on standby for the clash with the Saints.
