Inheriting a historic number from a club legend, former captain Nathan Jones was on hand to congratulate van Rooyen on his AFL debut.
The MCG was filled with “Rooo” chants, as van Rooyen kicked three, quickly becoming a trade-mark of Melbourne gamedays.
