INS – Harris, Ivey, Watt
OUTS – Gall, Wilson, Campbell

MELBOURNE will see the return of star Demon Tayla Harris when it faces Brisbane on Saturday night.

Harris was forced to the sidelines with a hamstring injury but has proven her fitness and will re-enter the starting line-up for the top-four clash.

The tall forward will add strength and power to the Demons’ contest, her aerial talent a major asset inside 50.

Melbourne has also called upon Jordan Ivey and Rhi Watt to bolster its side as it prepares to take on the season seven grand finalists.

The Round 10 game will be the first for Ivey in 2023, having pulled on the red and blue on three occasions last season.

The dynamic forward comes into the starting 21 after plenty of work on the training track and a number of impressive outings in the club’s match scrimmages.

Watt re-joins the team after her club debut in Round 7 where she displayed her skill in the ruck and positive impact on the playing group in her role as a leader.

Georgia Gall, Charlotte Wilson and Georgia Campbell have been omitted but will create the team’s emergency list for the trip to Brisbane.

This weekend’s match will see the club don its 2023 Pride guernsey as part of the league’s Pride Round.

The round is an opportunity for the competition to come together and support diversity and inclusion of LGBTQIA+ communities.

Melbourne will return to Brighton Homes Arena on Saturday night, its first game on back Brisbane’s home soil since the season seven grand final where the Dees won their inaugural premiership.
