MELBOURNE has named its side to face Fremantle in Round 9, making no changes to its starting 21.
The Dees have opted for the same line-up that led them to a 23-point win over North Melbourne last weekend.
Saturday’s game will mark a milestone for young gun Shelley Heath, who will run out for her 50th AFLW match.
The hard-hitting defender is an under-the-radar star, regularly tasked with facing some of the competition’s best.
Heath has played her entire half-century in the red and blue, an integral cog in the Demon machine since 2018.
Most recently, in 2022, the 23-year-old became an inaugural AFLW premiership player for the Dees.
Saturday’s match will take place at Melbourne’s south-east home of Casey Fields, with the first bounce set for 1:05pm.
