NARRM has confirmed an extended line-up three days out from its clash against West Coast.

The Demons have named six inclusions to their 24-player squad, with Jordan Ivey, Maeve Chaplin, Georgia Campbell, Rhi Watt and Georgia Gall entering the side.

Narrm will be without Tayla Harris, Maddi Gay and Lauren Pearce with Marcus Wagner, GM Football Operations and AFLW, providing an update on the trio.

“Maddi is still quite sore after last week’s match, and so we’ll ensure her fitness is managed at this stage in the season. She’ll look to be available for selection next week," Wagner told Narrm Media.

“Lauren suffered an AC joint sprain in the second quarter of last week’s match, and will spend this week on the sidelines recuperating. We are optimistic about her recovery and hope she’ll be returning to the team next week.

“Tayla has hamstring soreness. We’ll continue to manage her load and see how she responds to training.”

The Demons will face the Eagles on Sunday 15 October at Mineral Resources Park (Whadjuk Country).

This weekend’s matches will be the first of the AFLW’s Indigenous Rounds, which spans across both Rounds 7 and 8.

For the second consecutive year, the Demons will rebrand to Narrm Football Club for the duration of the two-week period.

The initiative, first introduced in 2022, looks to celebrate Australia’s Indigenous history, while generating healthy and productive conversations among the football community.

Narrm’s final team will be confirmed tomorrow at 5pm (AEDT).
