DURING Monday night’s 2023 Brownlow Medal count, 15 Demons polled an accumulative 88 votes.
Christian Petracca collected a club-high 26 votes and finished sixth on the overall tally, falling just five votes shy of winner Lachie Neale (31 votes).
Petracca led the Melbourne leaderboard by two votes, with vice-captain Jack Viney finishing strongly and polling a career-high 24 votes.
Among the Demons’ other vote-getters was skipper Max Gawn (seven votes) and talented midfielder Clayton Oliver (six votes).
