IF IT DOESN'T rain, it pours.

And it seems this notion has come to fruition with the injuries that the Dees have suffered in the past couple of weeks.

At the moment, smothering yourself with honey and locking yourself in a room full of bees would be less painful than the prospect of dealing with the various injuries that have affected Dream Teams across Australia.

Saturday was a disappointing loss for the Dees, going down to the Kangaroos. But there is light at the end of the tunnel, with several Demons scoring career career-best Dream Team scores. There was also the return to form for several of our favorite Dees.

After missing the round seven match against Adelaide, big Stefan Martin returned in fine form against the Roos, scoring a career-high 108 points. It was a great Dream Team performance in the absence of injured ruckman Mark Jamar.

At $243,700, Martin could be a great prospect as a back-up defender. Keep your eye on his performances over the next few weeks.

At $210,700 and with a 2010 average of 50.7 points per game, Michael 'Juice' Newton, who played his first game for 2011, was equally impressive, notching up 99 points. He was Melbourne's second highest scorer of the round.

If you are after a potential cash cow for your midfield, at $80,400 young Demon rookie Michael Evans could potentially be an option for your side.

After another fantastic performance for Casey last weekend - he was in the best for the third consecutive week - Evans could be in line for a call up to the senior side, given the recent injuries.

If Evans gets his opportunity, I highly recommend you pick this young bloke in your side.
