MELBOURNE’S Christian Salem has been offered a financial sanction for Striking in the Demons’ Round 13 game against Collingwood.
The incident, which involved Pie Harvey Harrison, occurred during the fourth quarter of the King’s Birthday match at the MCG on Monday afternoon. It was assessed as Careless Conduct, Medium Impact, Body Contact.
The incident was classified as a $5,000 sanction as a second offence. However, Salem can accept a $3,000 sanction with an early plea.
