MELBOURNE has secured another of its talents, re-signing Alex Neal-Bullen on a new three-year deal.
The fresh contract will see the 27-year-old remain a Demon until at least the end of 2026, taking him through to 12 years of service in the red and blue.
“To have Alex, who qualified for Free Agency this year, commit to the club is fantastic,” List Manager Tim Lamb told Melbourne Media.
“He plays a crucial role in our team and is a fantastic leader within our group. He has developed over the years into a high-level, consistent performer, who leaves no stone unturned in his preparation.
“Alex is one of our most respected and admired players, who continually drives standards within the group. His willingness to play a selfless team-first role makes him an extremely valuable member and we look forward to him continuing to grow over the next three seasons with us.”
Originally drafted with pick No.40 in the 2014 National Draft, Neal-Bullen has 134 career games and 94 goals to his name.
His signature adds to the list of recently committed players including Trent Rivers and Judd McVee.
