Ally Kirkwood and Mitch White have been named to lead the Demon's VFLW and VFL sides in season 2023.
Both captains were announced on Thursday, 16th March, at the annual season launch held at partner Berwick Springs Hotel.
White returns to the role for a third consecutive year, but with a different title of Premiership Captain, after the VFL side's drought break win last year.
Club favourite Jimmy Munro was again named Vice Captain, whilst Jack Bell and George Grey are new additions to the leadership group.
Ally Kirkwood will ‘officially’ lead the side out as Captain in Round One of the rebel VFLW season, Sunday week.
Kirkwood was the side Vice-Captain in 2022; her leadership qualities and enthusiasm for the team and the club made her an easy appointment by her teammates and coaching staff.
Club stalwart Mel Hogg joins as Vice Captain, with Ali Dolwer, Kaitlyn Carew and Brooke Borchard rounding out the leadership group the VFLW side will undoubtedly have plenty of leaders across the field for their attack on the 2023 Premiership.
