IN GOOD news for Dees fans, Melbourne will be at full strength for this weekend’s NAB AFLW Grand Final against Brisbane.
Despite concerns over Tayla Harris’ shoulder following an incident during the preliminary final, AFLW High Performance Manager Sam Batterton said that the forward would be ready to go come Sunday.
"Tayla was our only concern following the game, but she presented really well on Monday and we’re happy with where she’s currently at,” Batterton told Melbourne Media.
“She completed what she needed to at training on Tuesday night and now she’ll look to full train with the group on Thursday so as to be ready to go for the weekend.
"The rest of the group has pulled up really well and are in great condition, so we’re looking forward to heading up to Springfield.”
Melbourne will face Brisbane at Brighton Homes Arena on Sunday 27 November at 2:40pm (AEDT).
