THE DEMONS will receive a big boost on the eve of the finals, with Maddi Gay returning to the side in Round 10.

After being sidelined for three weeks with a hamstring injury, Gay is back to full fitness in time to face the Eagles.

The classy midfielder-turned-defender will add to the depth of a side sitting second on the table with one game to play in the home and away season.

Charlotte Wilson is the unlucky Dee to make way at the selection table, being named as an emergency alongside Maggie Caris and Jordi Ivey.

For Melbourne to secure a home Qualifying Final, it will require a victory over the Eagles at Casey Fields on Saturday, while top spot is still up for grabs, dependent on Brisbane’s result against Collingwood.
