IN – Sherriff
OUT – Gay
THE DEMONS will hit Casey Fields with a strong line-up on Sunday, adding Casey Sherriff to their starting 21.
Sherriff has been called upon after missing last week’s game in Perth, coming into the side for Maddi Gay who has been withdrawn due to hamstring tightness.
Fresh off a 30-point win over the Dockers, Melbourne will be full of confidence as it returns home to face the Western Bulldogs in what will be Kate Hore’s 50th game.
The match, which kicks off at 3:10pm AEDT, will see the Dees and Dogs meet at Casey Fields for the first time in the history of the AFLW competition.
These two sides were the pioneers of the game, playing for the Hampson-Hardeman Cup each time they meet.
Melbourne currently holds the trophy after a win at Whitten Oval in Round 1 of Season 6, while it holds a 4-2 advantage from the clubs’ six meetings to date.
