ONE LOSS won’t be defining the Demons, according to Angus Brayshaw.

The club fell 22 points short in last Friday’s Qualifying Final, but there was enough to take from the outing to spark a resurgence in the coming weeks.

“We won contest and time in half, which are things we look at,” Brayshaw said on SEN Breakfast.

“We’re certainly not beaten yet.

“We’ve got obviously a huge game coming up and our game’s in half-decent shape.

“We just need to be more efficient going forward which has been the thing all year.

“We’re back to work today and looking forward to it – it’s very exciting.”

The Demons led by two goals in the third term and were in the contest for most of the night, but Sydney proved too strong when it mattered most at the MCG.

“If you look at the whole game, they just did their style for longer,” Brayshaw said.

“It’s no secret – that’s what wins you games in big finals.

“It’s not like we were horrendous, I think there’s enough there for us to go back and sharpen up.”

And if the Dees can implement some changes, they will take plenty of confidence into their Semi-Final match-up with Brisbane – a team they defeated just two weeks earlier.

“That’s why you get a second chance as far as I’m concerned, to have another crack and we’re certainly not done yet,” Brayshaw said.

“We get another huge final in front of our fans at the MCG and that’s awesome.

“That’s all we’re focused on.”
