MADDI Gay has been nominated for the Toyota Mark of the Year in Round 1, after a high-flying mark in the season opener.
In an 18-point win over the reigning premiers, Gay launched herself at the ball to take a big grab in the crucial last minutes of the match.
Gay is up against Jacqueline Dupuy (Gold Coast SUNS) and Ruby Schleicher (Collingwood) to stay in the running for the end of season award.
